The Excellence Empress - trend-setting - the world's first river passenger ship with a drastic reduction in emissions
The Excellence Empress is the new ship of the Swiss shipping company Swiss Excellence River Cruise of the family company Twerenbold. It writes a new chapter in passenger riverboat construction. The
Excellence Empress will be the first passenger riverboat in the world to sail the rivers with a Clean Air Technology System, an SCR catalyst / particle filter technology. This significantly reduces pollutant emissions throughout the journey. At least 75% of nitrogen oxides and over 90% of fine dust no longer get into the atmosphere.
