Overview

"With only 90 passengers, the intimacy and timeless beauty of the MS Royal Crown delivers a distinctive 5-star cruise experience that sets it apart from all other luxury river ships. From your first step on board you’ll feel like you are out yachting with friends.

Welcome to the MS Royal Crown!  Built in 1996, but designed to reflect the glamour and elegance of Europe's 1930's Golden Age of Travel, no level of detail has been overlooked on this iconic vessel.  Polished bronze fixtures and etched glass windows glimmer under the soft glow of Art Nouveau lamps. Rich mahogany woodwork, from the pub-inspired bar to the intricate floor-to-ceiling paneling, combine with lush upholstered seating – beckoning you to relax and make yourself at home. Or grab a coffee or cocktail and head upstairs to the Royal Crown's 'teak tiera' - her show stopping sundeck where you can spend your days (or nights) relaxing on cushioned steamer chairs or around cozy dining sets, watching the European countryside unfold as you make new friends and lifelong memories.

Dining on the Royal Crown is a true pleasure. Seated at tables with crisp white linen, candles, embossed silver and custom porcelain dinnerware, you will dine in regal fashion. Freshly prepared dishes made with local ingredients are graciously served along with a curated selection of regional wines. As you share stories of that day's discoveries, courses seamlessly follow one another. Breakfasts and lunches on the Royal Crown are presented service a la francaise, with a bounty of unique and tasty options that will have you heading back to the buffet 'just one more time.' Tea, coffee and snacks are always available in the lounge with early risers treated to daily surprises by the ship's pastry chef.

As you'd expect from any 5-star hotel, each cabin on the Royal Crown (Deluxe, Premium, Royal Suite) deliver passengers a well-appointed retreat to call home. Sink into beds dressed in the finest linens after a full day of exploring. Each cabin offers beautiful marble-lined bathrooms, fully equipped with brass fixtures and separate showers. Luxury bath & body products, individual air/heating thermostats, and spacious built-in closets help you to settle in, as well as a flat-screen satellite TV and plush bathrobes should a lazy afternoon be preferred.

But the heart of this legendary ship are the people you'll share your journey with.
